National Championships : Roundhay Park - February 27th

Hopes were high for the National at Roundhay Park in Leeds but despite some great performances, it was one of those ‘nearly but not quite’ days when four of our teams finished in the top 5 just missing out on the medals. On another day, one or two little bits of fortune could have gone our way and made all the difference but that happens sometimes in cross country and as frustrating as it was to get so close, it should not detract from what was a tremendous in depth team effort across the U13 to U17 age groups. Analysis taken from these results placed us 3rd nationally behind only Tonbridge and Aldershot which shows how far we have progressed in the last 3 years! We were the strongest Midland Counties club at this level.
