Ben sparkles at the Birmingham Uni BMC races and BRAT Open Meeting on Wednesday 29th May!
Ben Dijkstra U15b is continuing to smash records seemingly with every race. Fresh from his 1500m personal best performance last week where he took Dick Callan's previous club record, the youngster claimed another with his 3000m time of 8:55.05 and this time he replaced Rob Slater's previous record of 9:17.2 which had stood since 1974.
Ben's time will shoot him to the top of the Power of 10 rankings in his age group, where he is some 12 seconds ahead of his nearest rival and it will also place him 9th on the All Time rankings in this same age group.
