Results from the Kettering Open on Saturday 19th April 2014
Several athletes opened their track season at the Kettering Open yesterday and there were some very creditable results from the youngsters, some of whom were competing for the club for the first time.
One of those was Elsie Robinson U11g who competed in the 600m and despite her nerves, she held her form against much bigger athletes to get herself nicely in position to run a fantastic race and to finish in 2:15.2.
Knocking 4 seconds off of her personal best was Rhea Cooper U15g who ran 800m in 2:38.4 in her second track race for the club.
